My first international conference arrived and it was an experience I will never forget.
I had the honor of participating in CaribeConf 2025 as a Speaker, an event filled with talent, community, and human warmth. I gratefully thank CaribeDev for inviting me and entrusting me with my work. Sharing the stage with such talented people and being part of such a vibrant community was simply incredible.
My talk addressed the evolution of text editors, from their humble beginnings with basic interfaces, passing through personalization with plugins, until reaching the present: a world where Artificial Intelligence collaborates directly with us when writing code.
Beyond the technical topic, this talk represented a personal milestone. It was the 'certification' of years of work, learning, and passion for teaching. But it was also a reminder that outside your comfort zone is where true growth occurs.
Returning to Barranquilla was excellent, this time at least I could learn a little more.
